  • Purpose: What does the Company Wide Issue Analysis Offer
  • Who It’s For: User with acces to company wide reporting
Prerequisites: Included in Licence

✅ Company-Wide Issue Summary

The report gives users a top-down view of issue volume and performance — from total issues logged to how many are still open, late, or closed. It helps stakeholders quickly understand how projects are progressing overall.

  1. How It Works

    • Segmentation by Levels:
Projects are grouped into three hierarchical levels for flexible analysis. In this example, the levels are:

      • Country

      • Region

      • Sector

    • These levels are configurable — for example, you could switch to Project Manager → Principal Contractor → Build Type to reflect different reporting needs.

    • Key Metrics:
A summary section at the top of the page shows total project and issue counts, as well as performance metrics like:

      • Percentage of issues closed

      • Percentage of issues that are late

      • Average durations to resolve, respond, and close issues

    • Visuals by Grouping:
Bar and line charts show issue performance across each grouping (e.g. by country, region, or sector), making it easy to spot high-performing or at-risk areas.

    • Project Issue Table:
A detailed table breaks down all key metrics by project groupings. This provides a structured way to explore which areas are seeing delays, have the most late issues, or are performing well.

Interactivity & Export

  1. Drill-Through Capability
    • You can drill into more detail by right-clicking on any Level 1 row (e.g. a country or group name) and selecting “Drill through → Level 1 Overview.” This reveals further insights about the selected group — allowing deeper analysis without leaving the page.
  2. Data Export:
    • You can export the data behind almost any visual by selecting the visual menu (three dots) and choosing Export data. This is helpful for ad hoc analysis or sharing filtered insights.

FAQs & Troubleshooting

Q: Can I change how projects are grouped?
A: Yes. The dashboard supports flexible grouping at three levels (e.g. Country → Region → Sector), but these can be reconfigured to suit your reporting needs — such as Project Manager → Principal Contractor → Build Type.

Q: How do I view more detailed data for a specific project or group?
A: You can right-click on any row in the Project Issue Details table (Level 1) and select Drill through → Level 1 Overview to explore deeper insights about that group.

Q: Can I export data from the visuals?
A: Yes. Click the ellipsis (⋯) in the top-right corner of most visuals and choose Export data. You can export to Excel or CSV for further analysis or sharing.

Q: Why are some durations listed as 'Not Available'?
A: Duration metrics (e.g., time to resolve or respond) may show as 'Not Available' if the required data isn’t recorded consistently for that group or if the relevant statuses haven’t been used.

Q: What does 'Late %' mean?
A: Late % shows the proportion of issues that are currently overdue based on their due dates.

Q: How often is the data refreshed?
A: Refer to the timestamp in the top right of the dashboard to see the last refresh date. Data is typically updated on a scheduled basis (e.g., daily or weekly), depending on system setup.

Q: Can I filter by project or issue type?
A: Yes. Use the available filters in the left-hand pane to narrow down the view by project name, responsible party, issue type, or other dimensions depending on the filter setup.
