(Please note that not everyone can move a process from one location to another as this will be dependent on your permissions. If you cannot perform this action we advise that you reach out to your project administrator for more details)

The location of a process can be changed on RDrive, let's go through how to do this below.

via Plan Viewer

If the Plan Viewer is congested, the advised good practice is to search the process by applying filters in unified search bar located at the top of your screen.

Once you have the required location, simply click into the memo/post it icon to unfold the process details on the left-hand side of your screen as shown below.

Now press the 3 dots  icon to explore the dropdown menu and select "Move".

Now you can select another location that you would like to move the process to and press "OK" to confirm as shown below.

You have moved your process to another location on the same drawing!

Want to move the process to a location on another drawing?

RDrive also allows processes to be relocated to a location on a separate drawing!

As before, press the "Move" icon as shown below.

Now you will need to search for the desired drawing to move the process via the unified search bar located at the top of your screen.

To do this, type "Drawing" in the search bar and choose the relevant drawing from the options listed. the chosen drawing will be presented on your screen as shown below. Now simply select the correct location and press "OK" to confirm.

Via Process Finder

Search the relevant process by applying filters via the unified search bar at the top of your screen as shown below.

Now press the 3 dots  icon to explore the dropdown menu and select "Edit" to enlarge the Edit Process window.

Now simply select "EDIT LOCATION" as circled below to expand the window.

In the expanded Menu, you can now select another location that you would like to move the process to via the location option. (This is all that needs to be changed if the location is on the same drawing)

Please note: If you want to move the process to a location on a different drawing simply change both the drawing and location options at the same time and press "OK" to confirm.

Your process has now been moved!
