Overview

How to save media taken within RDrive to your device

  • Purpose: To make an additional copy of media taken within RDrive to your device
  • Who It’s For:[General users
Prerequisites: RDrive Access, available storage on the device


You may wish to save images taken within within the RDrive application.


Here's how to enable it:


Swipe up to display more options and click on the "Settings" button within the "Shortcuts and tools" section.


Select "Settings" from the pull up menu.



From the "Camera" section, enable the option that suits your needs—whether it's capturing images or videos. 

Remember to click Save to confirm in the top right to confirm and save your preferences.



Once you have enabled the preferred option, every photo or video you capture using our APP will be securely saved in your local storage. 



FAQs & Troubleshooting


Q: Why can't I save or download media from the app?

A: Your user permissions may restrict downloading media, or your device may not have sufficient storage available. Check your permissions and device settings before trying again.

Q: The media I captured is not appearing in the project—what should I do?

A: Ensure your device has successfully synced with the server. If you were working offline, connect to the internet and perform a sync to upload the media.
