How do I update the status of an issue/defect/record?

Updating issues/defects/records 

After an issue/defect/record is created, different participants may be involved to update issues along the status flow to completion. 


It is vitally important these different participants are involved in order to complete the full status flow process in regard to the issue/defect/record in question.


Edit issues/defects/records - ✏️


✏️ - via Plan Viewer


Press the Menu icon ≡ in the top left corner to unfold the Menu and gain access to the Plan viewer. Then select the correct drawing.



Choose the relevant issue/defect/record pin as circled below. The details of the pin will then display on the left-hand side of your screen. 

Once the details are present, press the 3 dots button at the top right corner of the details display.



After the Menu has unfolded select "Edit" to amend the issue/defect/record and an edit window will be enlarged on your screen in relation to your issue/defect/record.


Edit the defect window to your requirements. All you need to do now is press OK to save and complete your edit as shown below.



To change status only:


To change the status of your issue/defect/record, press the 3 dots button at the top right corner of the details display.


This time, select "Status" as circled below. Update the status of your issue/defect/record status by pressing the "CHANGE" button as shown below. 


You can then provide notes whilst the status has been changed if needed. Once completed, simply press OK to confirm your change and save.



✏️ - via Issue Finder


Press the Menu icon ≡ in the top left corner to unfold the Menu and gain access to the issue/defect/record page by selecting the category and subcategory as shown below.



Choose your issue/defect/record and click the Menu button on the right-hand side of your screen to expand the Menu.


After the Menu has unfolded, select "Edit" and amend to complete your update. Once completed, simply click OK to confirm your change and save.



To change status only:


To change the status of your issue/defect/record, press the 3 dots button at the top right corner of the details display.


This time, select "Status" as circled below. Update the status of your issue/defect/record status by pressing the "CHANGE" button as shown below. 


You can then provide notes whilst the status has been changed if needed. Once completed, simply press OK to save.



Quickly change the status? 


You can switch the mode from "Browse" to "Review" via the display details present on the left-hand side of your screen as circled below. 


Simply press the "Browse" icon to release the drop-down options and select "Review". 


Once selected, additional options are now available on the upper left-hand side of your screen enabling you to easily update the status without any data input. the status will automatically save when chosen.
